Building Facade Assessment
Facade Combustiblity Test & Report
Often site plans and building specifications are not specific or simply don’t exist. Therefore a definitive conclusion is not able to be made about the type of construction material present. In this case laboratory testing is required to identify the type of material present and it’s combustibility. A number of 30-50mm core samples will be taken from each facade and sent to a ICA approved laboratory for testing.
On conclusion of these tests CCA will compile a comprehensive and definitive report of the nature and composition of the facade material. ‘Findings’ will determine whether your building complies with government regulations and satisfies insurance company assessors. Recommendations will be made on whether further work need to be carried out.
‘Fire Safety Engineer’ Risk Assessment
Depending on the building type, location and extent of the combustible building materials an alternate fire solution may offer an alternative to a complete or partial facade replacement. CCA use qualified Fire Engineers and Building Professionals to determine whether your current fire systems are adequate. A ‘Fire Safety Engineer’ may be able to provide a performance solution that satisfies government and building regulations.
